These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at fortisan.co.uk (the "Site"), operated by Fortisan Recruitment Solutions CIC ("Fortisan", "we", "us" or "our"), a Community Interest Company registered in England and Wales under company number 15071490, with its registered office at Office 1, Izabella House, 24-26 Regent Place, City Centre, Birmingham B1 3NJ, United Kingdom.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

Fortisan is a recruitment and education-support organisation connecting international talent — including students and skilled professionals, with particular support for Ukrainian refugee professionals — with UK employers and educational institutions. Our contact details are set out in Section 11 below.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, the Site by anyone else. In particular, you agree not to:

  • submit any information that is false, misleading, or that you are not authorised to provide;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our servers, or any systems or networks connected to the Site;
  • use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Site without our prior written consent;
  • introduce viruses, malware, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful;
  • use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use of it.

3. Enquiries, applications and forms

Where the Site allows you to submit an enquiry, register interest, or apply for a recruitment or education programme (including the Fortisan Computing School), you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Submitting a form or application does not guarantee a placement, offer, or admission outcome — all enquiries and applications are reviewed individually by our team.

Personal data submitted through the Site is handled in accordance with our Data Protection Statement.

4. No guarantee of outcomes

Fortisan acts as an intermediary between candidates, students, employers and educational institutions. While we take care in assessing and presenting candidates and opportunities, we do not guarantee that any enquiry, application or introduction will result in an interview, offer of employment, course admission, visa outcome, or any other specific result. Decisions relating to employment offers, course admissions and immigration matters remain solely with the relevant employer, institution, or government authority.

5. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and all content on it — including text, graphics, logos, images, video, and the underlying design and code — is owned by or licensed to Fortisan and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. You may view, download and print extracts of the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify the content and you keep any copyright or proprietary notices intact. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

6. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, partner employers, institutions, or social media). These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any linked third-party site.

7. Accuracy of information

We take reasonable care to ensure the content of the Site is accurate and up to date, but we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, that any content is complete, accurate, or free of errors. Content is provided for general information purposes only and does not constitute legal, immigration, financial or professional advice. We may update or remove content on the Site at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fortisan excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, including any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under English law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
